Alfred Euaik Tan, MD, Investigator, Dr. Tan attended UC Berkeley as an undergraduate. He then graduated from UCSF School of Medicine. He has lived and practiced medicine in the Pleasanton/Dublin/San Ramon/Danville area for almost thirty years.
He frequently travels on medical missions to Myanmar, formerly known as Burma. While there, he provides medical attention, first-aid materials, and other medical supplies to the elderly, orphans, and refugees of this impoverished country. He loves taking care of people, especially those who are in need.
Bakul T. Roy, MD, Investigator Dr. Roy's specialty is internal medicine and infectious disease. Dr. Roy is trained to manage both common and complex disorders, from the initial presentation of illness through long-term treatment.
Barry Shibuya, MD, Investigator Dr. Shibuya's specialty is rheumatology. Dr. Shibuya, graduated from the University of Hawaii, John A Burns School of Medicine in 1996, and completed his internship and internal medicine residency at the University of Hawaii Integrated Medical Residency Program in 1999. He also served as Chief Medical Resident at Kuakini Medical Center in Honolulu, HI in 2000. Dr. Shibuya then completed his rheumatology fellowship at the Keck School of Medicine at the University of Southern California in 2002. He is also board certified in rheumatology and internal medicine.
Tim Davis, Site Manager since 2007. Tim has managed the daily research operations. He incorporates both his medical experience and advertising background to promote high volunteer enrollment.
Kakali Hossain, MD, Certified Clinical Research Coordinator Kakali, earned her Medical Degree from the University of Dhaka. She completed the Clinical Trials Design and Management Certificate Program from University of California, Santa Cruz.
Saira Syed, Clinical Research Coordinator, Saira has earned a degree in pharmacy. She completed the certification program in Clinical Research Conduct and Management from UC Santa Cruz.
Kelli Davis, PT, Clinical Research Coordinator, Kelli earned her undergraduate degree in Biopsychology from the University of Santa Barbara, CA and her Masters degree in Physical Therapy from Fresno State University. She has eight years of experience conducting clinical trials.
